James David Sorrells Obituary
James David Sorrells went to be with the Lord on June 3, 2026 at Mission Hospital.
A native of Transylvania County, he graduated from Brevard High School. He retired from PSNC Gas Company and enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with family.
He is the son of the late James "Jim" Arthur Sorrells and Minnie Evelyn Cooper. He was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Hefner.
Surviving is his loving wife, Mary J. Sorrells; his sister, Kathy Sorrells; his two sons, James Ryan (Ana) and Brent (Cadence) and six grandchildren, Cotton, Joshua, Ryleigh, Charlotte, Cambrie and Cadee Raye.
A celebration of life service will held Saturday, June 20, from 2 to 5p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 133 Osborne Road.
